Bomb Exploded at Rome

A package bomb exploded at the Swiss Embassy in Rome, Italy, Thursday (23/12). Local news agency ANSA reported, when checked, the package suddenly exploded. As a result, an embassy official seriously injured, was taken to hospital immediately.

Local police spokesman said: “Both hands embassy employee was seriously wounded.” Currently, state-protected embassy official whose identity was still under special care.

So far police are investigating the cause of the blast and the perpetrator who sent the package was still being hunted blast police.
According to the center-right newspaper Corriere della Sera Italy, initial police investigation “focused on environment-related anarchist eco-terrorist group.”
Several hours later a bomb exploded in another package embassy Chile and one other person was reported injured.

Italian Foreign Minister Franco Frattini expressed concern over this incident. “We feel sorry for the incident. despicable act like this deserve severe punishment,” he said.
